MH-5 DTS14 Hydraulic 14″ Deep-Frame One-Shot Fastener Attaching Machine
The MICRON® MH-5 DTS14 is a heavy-duty hydraulic fastener attaching machine engineered for professional applications requiring high setting force and extended access into large or finished materials.
Its 14″ (355.6 mm) deep-frame throat allows the operator to reach fastening locations farther from the edge of a panel than with a standard-frame machine. This makes the MH-5 DTS14 especially useful for truck tarps, banners, industrial textiles, large covers, automotive interior materials, and other oversized applications.
14″ Deep-Frame Design
The extended 14″ throat depth is one of the primary advantages of the MH-5 DTS14.
It provides additional working clearance for large panels, wide materials, finished products, and applications where the fastening point is located farther from the edge.
One-Shot Cutting & Setting
With the correct die configuration installed, the MH-5 DTS14 cuts the material and sets the fastener during the same production cycle.
This one-shot operation eliminates the need for a separate cutting step and helps increase production efficiency while providing clean, repeatable installations.
Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Power
The MH-5 DTS14 uses an electric motor and hydraulic piston system to provide consistent processing force for demanding industrial applications.
The machine delivers up to approximately 3 tons of processing force.
Hydraulic pressure can be adjusted according to the material, fastener, and die configuration.
Foot Pedal & Manual Start Operation
The MH-5 DTS14 can be operated using the foot pedal for hands-free production.
The operator can also activate the machine using the manual start push button located next to the emergency stop button.
This provides operating flexibility based on the application and operator preference.
Digital Control
The machine includes a digital control display for monitoring the operation count and adjusting processing time.
Processing time can be adjusted according to the fastener, material thickness, and installation requirements.
Safety System
The MH-5 DTS14 includes a pneumatic safety guard, emergency stop, and safety sensors for operator protection.
The pneumatic safety guard protects the working area during the cutting and setting cycle.

Free Material Testing Before Purchase
Customers may send us their own material before purchasing the machine.
We will test the material with the appropriate MH-5 DTS14 and die configuration at no testing charge and provide a performance video for review.
Customers are responsible for shipping their material to us.
Pre-Shipment Machine Testing
Every MH-5 DTS14 is tested before shipment.
Before shipment, we provide a performance test video of the customer’s actual machine. The video also shows the machine serial number so the customer can confirm that the machine shown in the test is the same machine being shipped.
