M-500 FULLY AUTOMATIC GROMMET ATTACHING MACHINE
MICRON® America manufactures the M-500 for high-volume production using sheet metal grommets and extended neck washers.
The M-500 uses sheet metal grommets with extended neck washers. In one continuous production cycle, the machine punches the material, feeds the grommet and washer, and completes the installation.
Depending on the material and machine adjustment, the M-500 can install up to 60 grommets per minute.
AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION SYSTEM
The M-500 automatically feeds both the grommet and the extended neck washer through dedicated feeding channels.
As a result, operators can maintain fast and repeatable production without manually positioning each fastener.
The machine operates on 220V AC and does not require an air compressor.
In addition, the laser alignment system helps the operator position the material accurately before each installation.

MICRON® America can manufacture the M-500 for the following sheet metal grommet sizes:
– #0 (1/4″)
– #1 (9/32″)
– #2 (3/8″)
– #3 (7/16″)
– #4 (1/2″)
Each M-500 operates with one selected grommet size.
Therefore, MICRON® America configures the dies and automatic feeding channels specifically for the size selected at the time of purchase.
The machine does not support customer conversion from one grommet size to another after purchase.
For this reason, please confirm the required size before ordering.
GROMMETS, WASHERS & DIE SET
The M-500 operates with sheet metal grommets and compatible extended neck washers.
Brass and stainless steel configurations are available.
One die set for the selected grommet size comes with the machine at no additional charge.
Grommets and extended neck washers are sold separately.
APPLICATIONS
The M-500 works well for high-volume applications such as:

Different materials and thicknesses may require different cutting and setting adjustments.
Before continuous production begins, the operator should test the machine and adjust the cutting depth for the material being used.
FREE MATERIAL TESTING BEFORE PURCHASE
Customers may send us their own material before purchasing the machine.
We will test the material with the appropriate M-500 configuration at no testing charge.
After testing, we can provide a performance video so the customer can review the results before placing the machine order.
Customers are responsible for shipping their material to us.
PRE-SHIPMENT MACHINE TESTING
We test every M-500 before shipment.
Before the machine leaves our facility, we record a performance test video of the customer’s actual machine.
The video also shows the machine serial number. Therefore, the customer can confirm that the machine shown in the test video is the same machine being shipped.
We do not ship an M-500 before completing this test.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
If the M-500 is in stock, it normally ships on the next business day.
However, availability is subject to prior sale.

After purchase, we provide the customer with the complete M-500 User Guide and applicable electrical documentation.
We also provide operating and setup video support.
